“MIND YOUR STEP”

- KAPKAN

Please keep in mind that operators are a work in progress, and information is still subject to change by launch.

PROFILE

Born and raised in Kovrov, Basuda is the son of factory workers. To escape a life in the factory, he enlisted with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and was sent to a small port town on the Barents Sea. Basuda became an avid hunter and trapper during his time in the Arctic Circle. This expert in lures and traps carries into battle a trap equipped with a laser trip for windows and doors certain to impede any foe (or friend) caught in its blast.

GAMEPLAY

Kapkan is a very efficient trapper: he can place his traps inside doorways and windows, which will be detonated by enemies or allies going through them! Remember to set your Entry Denial Device behind barricades, or enemies will be able to easily spot them. Kapkan’s traps are very volatile and don't fare well with any types of damage so they are easy to disable or blow up, plus, they are also vulnerable to EMP grenades.

You can also use them on barricaded windows where opponents can rappel. Remember to keep your distance as they will do explosive damage to anyone near them.

UNIQUE GADGET

EDD Mk II can be mounted into windows and door frames. It explodes when enemies enter trapped entryways, projecting shrapnel at anyone located in the device’s blast radius.

This lightweight mine design comes with a long screw to embed the device in door and window frames. The EDD Mk II utilizes a packed C4 charge to propel an assortment of screws held in stasis by a silicon pad. The EDD Mk II proves necessity is the mother of invention.
