Please note that this blogpost will be updated on a weekly basis with fresh and new information about the Pro League Finals Season IX in Milan.

Milan (Italy) will host the ninth Pro League battle between the bravest Rainbow Six teams from all over the world. From Asia-Pacific and Latin America to Europe and North America, all the players will have one purpose only: be crowned as Pro League Champions and establish their dominance within the Rainbow Six competitive scene.

Pro League Finals Season IX kicks off on May 18th, 2019, with enthralling games upon us! Whether this is your first time watching a competitive Rainbow Six event or you are a longtime fan looking for more information, this is your go-to guide to the Season IX Pro League Finals

What is the Pro League?

The Pro League Finals are one of the most prestigious layers of competitive Rainbow Six Esports. It is a global competition, gathering the top two teams across four regions (North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific) competing each season to qualify for the Pro League finals and battle it out for the title of Pro League Champion. This season is no different, with each region coming together on May 18th and 19th in Milan, Italy to determine who will be crowned the Season IX Pro League Champion!

Who’s competing?

FaZe Clan (LATAM): Top ranked in Season IX of Latin American Pro League, FaZe Clan also reached the final of the Rio Finals against G2 esports. Their successful past allows them to dream big for Milan.

Immortals (LATAM): Finishing second in the Latin American region, Novys and his teammates showed impressive performances this season. It won’t be their first appearance at a Pro League Finals, since they were also competing last season in Rio de Janeiro.

Evil Geniuses (NA): The core of Evil Geniuses were the champions of the Six Invitational 2017 under the banner of "Continuum". In what is looking like one of their first international LAN opportunities without their big rivals, G2 Esports, they aim to bring home a global title for the North American region.

DarkZero Esports (NA): The recently acquired roster has a strong presence in NA Pro League, consistently sitting near the top. With experienced players on the team like BC, this team shouldn’t be underestimated.

Fnatic (APAC): The Australian roster is one of the fearsome team in Milan, making it to every international LAN event so far under Fnatic belt. They will be aiming to build on their momentum of the APAC LAN Finals Season IX, taking the regional crown back from NORA Rengo.

NORA-Rengo (APAC): Known for their impressive playstyle, Merieux and his teammates will be looking to be the first APAC team victorious from an international event. The departure of Wokka before the end of the season may be a big loss for the team, but their recent showings in the SI 2019 and the APAC Finals Season IX prove they are a force to be reckoned with.

LeStream Esport (EU): Formed by a part of the ex-Millenium roster, they has shown consistency throughout Season IX. Their recent showing in Pro League has proven that they have the potential to become a powerhouse in the European region.

Team Empire (EU): The Russian team have impressed both analysts and viewers since their accession to Pro League, reaching the SI 2019 grand finals. They are undoubtedly one the favorites of the competition in Milan.
